Wednesday night, Officers responded to the 1900 block of South Missouri Avenue for a report of a theft not in progress. When Officers arrived, they gathered information from Brandon Lowry regarding a stolen game console.


 

Early Thursday morning, Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 300 block of West Broadway Boulevard for a moving violation. Upon contact with the driver, he was identified to dispatch. The driver was discovered to have a revoked driving status and an active Failure to Appear warrant out of Clay County on original charges of Driving While Revoked. Martez Lamont Troy Jr., 35, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24 hour hold. Troy was held on a $350 cash only bond on the active Clay County warrant, pending a state charge of Driving While Revoked.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop after the vehicle made an improper turn from northbound State Fair Boulevard onto Broadway Boulevard Monday morning. A computer check revealed that the suspect's driving privilege was suspended. Sherwood K. Limback, 54, of Sedalia, was arrested and then booked and released from the Pettis County Jail, pending the filing of formal charges of Driving While Suspended.
