Sedalia Police reports 9-17-20

Sedalia Police conducted a subject check at 3:30 a.m. Thursday at Main and Missouri. Two subjects were observed reaching into a soda machine. Arrested was 31-year-old Lindsey Renee Adams of Sedalia. She was found to be in possession of Suboxone and two used syringes. Adams was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Also arrested was 26-year-old Zachary L. Denny of Sedalia. He was wanted on a Municipal warrant.


 

On Wednesday, Sedalia responded to Liberty park on a report of someone sleeping on picnic tables. Police located a man and asked him to empty his pockets, which revealed a syringe filled with a substance identified as methamphetamine. 21-year-old Justice K T Workman of Sedalia was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail, were he was booked and released.


 

On Wednesday night, Sedalia Police responded to 3100 Brianna #207 on a report of a firearm being discharged. The caller said he unintentionally discharged his firearm while at his friend's apartment. The incident was determined to be an accident with no injuries. No charges are being pursued.


 

On Wednesday, Sedalia Police took a report of a violation of ex parte. According to a report, the caller said as she was leaving court downtown, her estranged husband purposely turned to drive by her and flip her off. The victim currently has a protection of order against the suspect. A request for a charge of violation of order of protection was submitted to the prosecutor.


 

Sedalia Police took a report of theft of a firearm in the 300 block of Boonville on Wednesday. According to the report, the victim said he had a friend over early in the morning, and after she left, he noticed his pistol was gone. No arrests had yet been made at the time of the report.
