Sedalia Teen Crashes into Culvert, Totals Truck in Benton County

A Sedalia man was injured in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred in Benton County Monday evening at 6:15 p.m.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Harley Pauley suffered minor injuries after the 2003 Ford truck he was driving left the roadway on US 65, north of Highway CC, struck a concrete culvert, a fence and a billboard.

He was not transported to a medical facility, the report said. He was wearing a safety device.

The truck was totaled and towed from the scene. Benton County deputies assisted the Patrol.
