Funeral Announcements for August 18, 2025

A memorial service for William "Bill" Carruthers, 75, of Warsaw, will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 18 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Morris Lee “Brownie” Brown, 91, of Sedalia, will be from 11 a.m., to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22 at Heckart Funeral Home, where a funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors at graveside.

A celebration of life for Charles "Chuck" Alden Loucks, 61, of Sedalia, will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22 at Rea Funeral Chapel, with full military honors following at 7 p.m., provided by the United States Marine Corps and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

Funeral service for Melissa "Leesa" Kay Scott-Richie, 58, of Sedalia, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date for Lisa Ann Moon, 65, of Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
