
Sedalia Woman Injured in Cooper County Rollover
A Sedalia woman suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Cooper County Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 4:43 p.m. on Missouri 5, south of Belair Road, when a southbound 2006 Honda Accord, driven by 71-year-old Sharon F. Quick of Sedalia, traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, overcorrected, left the roadway on the right side again, struck a fence & overturned.
Her passenger, 49-year-old Lori A. Copas of Sedalia, suffered moderate injuries in the accident and was transported to University Hospital by ambulance. Copas was wearing a safety device, according to the report.
The Accord was totaled and towed from the scene.
