An 82-year old woman from Sedalia suffered minor injuries Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at approximately 1:30, on US-65 at Georgetown Road.

According to the online crash report, the wreck occurred as a 1995 Ford F150, driven by 18-year old Seth M. Hoover, of Sedalia, attempted to cross the highway but failed to yield and struck a 2010 Chevy Malibu, driven by 84-year old Marion E. Thomas, of Sedalia.

A passenger in the Chevy, 82-year old Carolyn R. Thomas, suffered minor injuries. She was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Hoover and Marion Thomas were reportedly uninjured.

All three people were wearing safety devices.
