SFCC (4-2-1) picked up a 1-0 shutout victory over Southwestern Illinois College at the Fred E. Davis Sports Complex on Sunday, Sept. 12.

Ntene scored the only goal of the match with 13 minutes and seven seconds remaining in the opening half with an assist from Zubia. The Roadrunners finished the game strong both offensively and defensively to secure the victory.

Morrison got the start in net for SFCC.

"That was about as dominant as a 1-0 game can be," said Head Coach Jamie Beltran. "We felt like we were in control the whole time. Everyone that participated in this game contributed. It was good to be able to close out a tight game by using our entire team."
