The Smith Cotton-Tigers have been the recipient of the Silver Tiger Trophy the past seven years. Could the Warrensburg Tigers be ready for that to change Friday night, September 7?

This past Friday night, the Smith Cotton-Tigers traveled to Columbia to play against Class 5, District 4 opponent, Battle High School. The Tigers lost to the Spartans, 39-22. With the loss the Tigers' record is 1-1.

That same evening Warrensburg was at home, taking on Marshal. The Tigers defeated the Owls, 48-27, improving to 2-0.

Last year it was Smith-Cotton defeating Warrensburg at UCM, 34-12.

With the Tigers of Smith-Cotton High School at .500 and The Warrensburg Tigers undefeated, both records can be thrown out for this game come this Friday night.
