Smith-Cotton Math Team Takes First at Cole Camp
The Smith-Cotton High School Math Team placed first in the large school division at the Cole Camp Math Relays held Sept. 22 at Cole Camp High School.
The S-C freshmen team of Michael Castiglia, Peyton Kuhlman, Azidro Mather, and Jessi Sparks took first place in their grade-level competition; Sparks also won second place for top freshmen individuals.
Edward Toderescu-Stavila finished second in the top senior individual competition. Also taking second place were the S-C teams of sophomores (Andrew Matz and Gavin Walkington), juniors (Hunter Sparks, Derrick Gilger, Breana Hoover, and Reagen Mullins), seniors (Ashley Thomlinson, Toderescu-Stavila and Jacob Acklin) and the S-C Mixed Team (Alisa Sonnik, Kylie Neal, Mackinzie Brines-Beach, and Akaycia Mather).
