Smith-Cotton Takes 2nd at WCC Speech & Debate Tourney

The Smith-Cotton Talking Tigers took second place overall Feb. 17 at the West Central Conference speech and debate tournament at Nevada.

Senior Kayla Reed took first place in Humorous Interpretation, second in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking, second in Storytelling and third in Poetry.

Sophomore Unique Tatum was second in Dramatic Interpretation and fifth in Radio Speaking. Other individual finishes:

Hannah Coleman: third, Dramatic Interpretation; fourth, Prose
Harley Burton: third, with Adriana Radu, Duet; fourth, Original Oratory
Cameron Jackson: fifth, Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking
Rayne Burns: fifth, Storytelling
