The Smith-Cotton Football Tigers look for their first victory of the season on Friday, September 7 as they travel to Columbia to take on the Hickman Kewpies.

The Tigers have lost their first two games by a combined score of 82-13, and are looking for ways of moving the ball more effectively on offense.  Turnovers and allowing big plays on defense has also led to the Tiger’s first two losses.

Hickman, a Class 6 school, is 2-0 for the first time since 2003 and have wins this season over Lee’s Summit North and Holt (Wentzville).  The Kewpies offense revolves around Junior QB, Mason Murray and Senior RB, Deven Larry.  Friday’s game will be Hickman’s second consecutive home game.

Live coverage of the Friday, September 7 game can be heard on the exclusive radio home of Smith-Cotton Tiger Football, 92.3 Bob FM, and online at 923bobfm.com.  Pregame show begins at 6:30 p.m., with the kickoff at 7:00 p.m.
