Smithton, Eldon Residents Involved in Pettis County Wreck

A 19-year old woman from Smithton suffered minor injuries Monday afternoon in a Pettis County vehicle accident.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 4:45, on U.S.50 at Maplewood Drive.

According to the online crash report, a 2003 Kia, driven by 19-year old Kimberly Smith, of Smithton, came to stop while waiting to turn left. A 2012 Honda, driven by Wesley L. Throwbridge, of Eldon, then struck the rear of the Kia.

Smith suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by PCAD.

Throwbridge was reportedly uninjured.

Both vehicle sustained moderate damage and towed from the scene.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Department assisted the Patrol.
