A 36-year old Smithton man was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries on Saturday, after his vehicle struck several trees.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck around 5:30 Saturday evening, on Lamms Lane, south of Pony Path Road in Pettis County.

According to the online crash report, the driver of a 1997 Chevrolet lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the right side of the roadway, and struck several trees.

The driver, 36-year old Bobby L. Clark, suffered serious injuries in the wreck. He was taken to University Hospital, by Life Flight, for treatment.

Clark was later arrested for a number of violations, including DWI and felony driving while revoked. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.

The crash report indicates that the Chevy was totaled and towed from the scene.
