ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) — A St. Louis-area woman is accused of endangering her two children by overdosing on heroin while cooking dinner. St. Charles County prosecutors have charged 29-year-old Amber Strong with endangering the welfare of a child and possession of a controlled substance. Authorities allege Strong was making dinner for her children when she passed out from a heroin injection.
