A Missouri police chief whose Twitter account suddenly disappeared on the day he was suspended had been following a handful of sexually provocative accounts, including one for a used underwear resale shop.

KMIZ-TV reports that the city of Columbia placed Ken Burton on paid administrative leave Thursday.

Since 2014, he had used the handle @ColumbiaMOChief. It no longer appears as an active account on the social media platform. But screenshots the station took beforehand show him following several accounts that include pictures of people who are either fully or partially nude.

Buton doesn’t have a listed phone number and his work email has been disabled. City spokesman Steve Sapp says the reason for Burton’s leave is a personnel issue. The 63-year-old had been expected to retire in 2020.
