A Kansas City nightclub with a history of violence has lost its liquor license.

Police say four people were shot and wounded at a night club in Kansas City, where a mass shooting occurred in January.

A man who opened fire outside an Independence nightclub, killing a woman and injuring at least 15 other people before a guard killed him, had a past weapons charge dropped after lawmakers loosened the state's gun laws.
