Two women were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred early Friday morning in Johnson County.

Well, you know I don't keep my mouth shut, so I'm fixin' to climb up on a soap box. Okay, as you know, I am not an Obamunist, I am a God-fearing, gun-lovin' American that has heard enough of the BS. So this video just hit the internet (well, it's really just audio with subtitles) of a man leaving a voice message as he witnesses a car accident in front of him. He proceeds to describe in great detail how four old women get out of the car and beat down this guy who caused the accident. It's pretty funny how the guy describes the scene while cracking up the whole time.

Sharee Norfleet, Superintendent of the Pettis County R-V School District, sent a letter to parents regarding the safety of the students Monday afternoon (Dec. 17).  The exact text from that letter is as follows:

Every year, we are bombarded with Christmas music. It is everywhere and takes many forms.  Music in elevators, in stores, on television and yes, on the radio.

UPDATE: KSIS's Jack Miller spoke with Sedalia Police Battalion Chief Paul Withers this morning (July 19), who updated us on the fire that destroyed the Mark Twain Apartment Building last night. Withers says that the building has not fallen down, and the blaze has been tamed despite several "hot spots" at the building.  Police have blocked off the building  and the public is being asked t
