JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon is planning to join President Barack Obama for a visit of Ford Motor Co. facility near Kansas City.

President Obama again made his case for action against Syria in a speech from the East Room of the White House on Tuesday night while asking the House and Senate to put off a vote a vote on military action.

BOONVILLE, Mo. (AP) — The Boonville school district says it will hire an investigator to look into the role of any district employees during a stunt at the Missouri State Fair that mocked President Barack Obama.
