In a bunch of other countries, the weekend ISN'T Saturday and Sunday.  Who knew?  In a lot of Islamic countries, the weekend is either Thursday and Friday, or Friday and Saturday.  In Brunei, the weekend is Friday and Sunday . . . but people work Saturdays.  And in countries like India, Nepal, and Iran, the weekend is only officially one day.

Hello again everyone!  It's been an interesting first week back - and now I need your help.

I think a lot of us out there that are happily living with their loved ones have differences of opinion from time to time. It's just natural. But sometimes, there's something that just sticks out from the normal discussions.

According to a new study, dudes start turning into their dad at age 38.  It seems like women worry about turning into their mothers more than guys worry about turning into their dad, so let's even that out.

Basically it's just a place where people upload photos of their folks before they were born, and marvel at how cool they were. I've had some changes to what I do at work here over the past year, and I've found that I've had to completely rehaul the way I do my work.  It got me thinking about how everybody else gets stuff done.

I don't know about you guys, but for me, Christmas means family and parties. Well, not all ragers, don't get me wrong. But getting together with some folks, eatin' some food, and tellin' tales of the old days.

Coming up next week, I'm gonna take a few days off.  It's been a while since I've done that; it seems like there was always more reason not to then reasons to go for it.  So now, after Labor Day, there'll be another four Behkaless days - whether that's good or bad for the people I work with is another question for another day.

Kids, it's a great day for someone like me to be inside.  But I know a lot of you are out there having a blast and barbecuin' it up, getting ready for fireworks.
