The U.S. Small Business Administration has just approved Missouri's COVID-19 disaster declaration.

Over the years, there have been a lot of changes to Sedalia.

Kohl’s opened its doors to the public about three weeks ago. We know that Hobby Lobby will be opening its doors soon. So we asked our Facebook friends, "What would you like to see open next in Sedalia?" Restaurant, retail store...something else? Here are some of the answers we received.

"Everything Must Go!" reads the sign that sits in front of Blockbuster on South Limit. With the popularity of Redbox and Netflix, Blockbuster has been closing down stores at an extremely high rate. While some are upset about the closing of Blockbuster, others are excited about the possibility of something new here in Sedalia.

My wife and I are just moved to Sedalia this last summer, and we'll be spending our first Christmas in Sedalia this year. We're having family visiting for the holiday, and we're looking forward to spending time with them, but I was hoping we could take them out on Christmas Day and actually do something, rather than just bum around the house all day.
