So many times when we read the paper or look for news on the web, all we see is stuff that's depressing or going to kill you. So I thought today we'd share a happy, inspiring story. It's the story of one kid, Spencer Wilson.
As someone who has seen cancer up close, I can tell you that often, it's not pretty. And for a lot of us, how we look is intrinsic to our personal identity. If you don't look like yourself, you don't feel like yourself. So In collaboration with the American Cancer Society, Bothwell Regional Health Center offers "Look Good, Feel Better."
We here at our stations are working to help out with breast cancer awareness. And part and parcel with that is working toward a cure. here are all sorts of creative ideas for how to try to solve this health conundrum. So we decided to take the bull by the... teats? I think my analogy is wrong here. But read on, brave internetter! I'll get my metaphors together soon.
