If you're looking for something to do with all that kindness you have stored up, I have a little idea. It's about something that happened in Sedalia on that very night.

  We've all stared down the path of difficulty and just kept going.   And okay, maybe nobody helped you along your path - does that mean you didn't deserve help while you were walking?  Of course you did.

Basically what that is, is just what it sounds like. You can sign up to get online and make bids on the silent auction items. And you can do so in your favorite pair of ratty old pajama pants.

You can even make a claim on your income taxes by hosting them!

So go through the closets, the storage, the tubs in your living room, and donate what you can!

And hey, if you do get super hungry, they'll have some food trucks on site, which is always a good thing, in my opinion.

So why not call or stop by the Salvation Army office and see if you qualify?  I mean, yeah, $65 might not seem like a ton to some of you guys, but... that's a lot of money to others.

There's no break where you and your loved one feel like neither of you are a burden to the other. I get it, it's a lot.

And I know, you're thinking that you can't possibly give enough every month that's going to make a difference.
