Community Santa

Community Santa assists families that may have hit a struggling point whether it be financially or otherwise. According to Community Santa Executive Directors Betty Albrecht and Carol McMillan, over 600 families are eligible this year to benefit from Community Santa.

Community Santa is a seasonal organization in Sedalia looking to bring a little Christmas to those that have run into unfortunate circumstances, whether it be unemployment, a fire at the house or other financial hardships.

The Community Santa program in Sedalia has reached its last week of registering families that are in need of Christmas assistance. This program benefits not only families in need, but the elderly and handicapped as well. It works with the other social services agencies in Pettis County and all donations are used to help as many as possible.
