Christmas Day may be behind us, but it's time to look at when do you decide to take down the Christmas decorations, whether they are inside or outside. I have traditionally taken Christmas decorations down the weekend after New Year's Day...

As you travel down Broadway here in Sedalia, you pass several houses that are lit up bright with Christmas lights and decorations. If you travel a bit further, you will see one house that isn't feeling the Christmas spirit at all, you may go as far as saying that the biggest Scrooge in America happens to live right here in Sedalia...

So I was shopping for a costume on Halloween, and couldn't help but notice all the Christmas decorations in the stores. That's right, Christmas. In October. Another store in town even had their Christmas stuff up in SEPTEMBER. Christmas has pretty much already taken over Thanksgiving, and it looks like it's getting into Halloween.
