A Jefferson City man has been charged with illegally possessing firearms after officers confiscated 50 weapons from him, including several stolen guns.

The Sedalia STING Unit initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of East Boonville and North Depp on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 2:16 a.m. after the vehicle had numerous moving violations. The STING Unit found the suspect, 64-year-old Jack Wilson, had two different prescriptions of Oxycodone. The STING Unit discovered that a large amount of the pills were missing, after the prescriptions were fill
