Gov. Jay Nixon made a trip to the Coliseum on the Missouri State Fairgrounds this afternoon to sign three bills that will benefit Missouri farm families and agribusinesses across the state.

The focus of 2016 Missouri State Fair, which starts less than eight weeks from now, is agriculture, according to Director Mark Wolfe.

Mark Wolfe, Missouri State Fair Director, recently received an Honorary American FFA Degree.  The award recognizes individuals who have provided exceptional service to agriculture, agriculture education or FFA.

After the completion of the Missouri State Fair, the Missouri State Fair Commission discussed the condition of Mango Jack's Building on the fairgrounds.  The commission claims that the condition of the building warrants it to be torn down.
