The Johnson County Sheriff's Office says several arrests have been made since late November following the execution of narcotics related search warrants.
A former Kansas City, MO Fire Department paramedic pleaded guilty in federal court this week to stealing fentanyl and morphine from ambulances for his own personal use.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff, Narcotics Detectives arrested 45-year old Timothy Eugene Long on four Johnson County traffic violation warrants, with a total bond of $600.00, a failure to appear Jackson County Warrant for obstruction with a $41,160.00 bond, and a felony failure to appear Jackson County warrant for possessing amphetamine.
