A 37-year-old Missouri man was shot by a police officer in Moberly around 1:30 p.m. on January 10 after police were called to a residence for a "keep the peace" request.
An August 31 vehicle pursuit in Barry County ended with an officer shooting the suspect, who later died in a hospital. The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified the suspect as 38-year-old Thomas E. Sekscinski of Aurora.
