According to a press release from the Sedalia Police Department’s STING Unit, Sedalia Police and detectives along with the STING Unit responded to 1302 South Quincy to serve a drug-related search warrant at 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday night (Aug. 21). A short time after the warrant was served, a male subject who officers had the warrant for arrived at the residence and was taken into custody.

Just after midnight this morning (Aug. 20), the Sedalia Police Department’s STING unit, patrol officers and a Pettis County Deputy served a drug related search warrant at 906 East 5th St. Upon arrival, officers located a male and female who were detained. A juvenile was also located in the residence according to the press release.

Members of the Sedalia STING Unit and other Sedalia Police officers arrested a suspect this morning (June 27) in connection with an armed burglary earlier this week. The subject, Michael L. Shepard of Sedalia, was arrested for two Pettis County Warrants issued with no bond from charges of assault, armed criminal action, a felon in possession of a firearm and felonious restraint.
Shortly before 6 a.m. this morning (June 17), the Sedalia Police STING Unit and other officers served a search warrant at 1902 Liberty Park Blvd. Two suspects were found at the residence. A search of the residence revealed marijuana, drug packaging supplies a digital scale and several thousand dollars’ worth of illegal prescription pills. Officers also seized three vehicles and $4400 in cash.
