Speed and depth were the keys to success for Skyline Elementary School, which won the team traveling trophy at the first Sedalia 200 Fourth Grade Track Meet.
Last Friday (May 4), a Skyline Elementary School student was reportedly asked by a stranger if the child wanted a ride home, after the student departed the school bus near Honeysuckle Drive after school.
Skyline Elementary School has named its Character Kids for April. The character trait was dependability.

Members of the Sedalia School District 200 Board of Education were presented with certificates at the start of Monday night's regular board meeting by Superintendent Brad Pollitt, who read a proclamation from former Gov. Jay Nixon.
