Big names like Sarah Evans and Florida Georgia Line have been picking up dates at the 2014 Missouri State Fair, and now we have another one! After doing a little research, we have found out Jake Owen is planning on performing at the 2014 Missouri State Fair.

The State Fair Box Office opens at noon today (June 24) and has tickets available for purchase to all the 2013 Fair concerts and events. The Box Office is open noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and will expand its hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily during the Fair.  The Box Office, located on the fairgrounds in Sedalia, also has Governor’s Ham Breakfast tickets available for $25 each.

According to Missouri State Treasurer Clint Zweifel, 523 fair attendees found $68,000 in unclaimed property at the 2012 Missouri State Fair. One fair attendee was lucky enough to find $4,600 in unclaimed property. Treasurer Zweifel’s staff conducted over 1500 searches and talked to thousands of fairgoers about finding valuable unclaimed property.

The Missouri State Fair has announced the refund procedure for the auto races at State Fair Speedway on August 19.  The races were cancelled after a crash injured several spectators on the infield of the track.
