More and more each year, TV executives quake in their stylish, yet affordable boots over the exponential increase in peak TV, even as us ravenous viewers eagerly take it all in. Fall 2015 is no exception, cramming your DVR with everything from superheroes new and old, to Scream-ing gore-fests, animated staples and so much more. You’d need some sort of … television … guidance … periodical to navigate it all, but because we love you, we’ve compiled over 30 of Fall 2015's biggest must-see premieres. Look, when you produce 22 episodes a year, there are going to be some terrible episodes. Heck, it happens on 10- and 13-episode seasons as well. It happens all the time, even on the best of shows. Even ‘Lost’ produced “Stranger In A Strange Land,” an episode devoted to Jack Shephard’s tattoos, kites, and Bai Ling. ‘Lost’ is one of my favorite shows of all time, and that’s one of the worst episodes of television that I intentionally watched. So saying “The Sound And The Fury” was awful doesn’t mean ‘The Flash’ is suddenly awful. It just means the show had a bad week, the equivalent of Barry Allen tripping over something at supersonic speed and then tumbling into a brick wall. Everything’s fine, except for this episode.

The CW’s joint ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’ panel from yesterday’s TCA press tour brought with it plenty of scoop on either superhero, but also news that their small-screen DC-verse would expand with a ‘Vixen’ animated series, and potentially another spinoff for the network. Speculation has flown in every direction, but is Brandon Routh’s Ray Palmer character the one super-sizing his own spinoff for “The Atom”?

‘The Flash’ hung around this week, despite a “Power Outage” and the approaching holiday festivity, but December 2 will see the Scarlet Speedster really heating things up when Oliver Queen comes to down for two-part crossover “Flash vs. Arrow.” We’ve seen the photos, but watch for yourself what happens when Barry takes on the emerald archer in the first “Flash vs. Arrow” trailer!

'The Flash' took something of a breather this past week in order to prime for tonight's explosive "Plastique," but the newest trailer for the CW 'Arrow' spinoff picks up the pace double-time. Not only do we get new looks at the likes of DC's Girder, General Wade Eiling and a returning Clock King, but so too does an epic look at 'The Flash''s future tease a new name beyond the "Red Streak," and a deepening time travel mystery to the enigmatic Harrison Wells!

Not to be outdone by the big 'Captain America 3'/Civil War announcement from earlier this week, Warner Bros. dropped some superhero news of their own. They've confirmed their 2017, 2018 and 2019 superhero movies as well as announced some new casting for members of the new Justice League.

The CW’s ‘Arrow‘ will return for its third season this week, joined by its new spinoff super-series 'The Flash,' and cementing DC's reign over superhero TV for the foreseeable future. While CW 'Arrow' spinoff 'The Flash' has already made a few internet and critic rounds before next week's formal premiere, notably absent has been any new footage of the speedy DC drama beyond its pilot.
