Missouri House Republicans on Thursday backed away from a budget compromise that would allow colleges and universities to charge in-state tuition to students living in the U.S. illegally.
As a result of the Missouri Legislature’s actions and Gov. Nixon’s signature of House Bill 2003, the Fiscal Year 2017 budget for higher education, State Fair Community College will not implement a tuition increase for in-district students approved by the SFCC Board of Trustees in March.
