The Missouri State Highway Patrol Reported a Fatality in Lafayette County Friday Morning

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a fatality in Lafayette County around 8:30 Friday morning (Sept 9). The crash happened at Route U and Donaldson Road.

The crash occurred as the driver of a 2011 Kia suffered from a pre-existing medical condition. The Kia traveled off the roadway and impacted a culvert. The driver, 60-year old Raymond J. Silva, of Odessa, was pronounced dead by the Lafayette County Coroner.

The body was transported to Ralph O. Jones Funeral Home.
