Three Arrested for Property Damage at Vending Company
Three people were arrested at 1701 S. Kentucky early Thursday morning after officers were called to the area at 1:49 a.m. when subjects were seen tampering with two vending machines.
Three subjects were later stopped in a vehicle seen leaving the area that matched the description by the caller.
Arrested were 33-year-old James E. Riga (homeless) and two residents from Warsaw, 19-year-old Shyenne M. Long and 50-year-old Robert E. Stockstill. Riga and Stockstill were both charged with two counts of property damage, while Long was wanted on two Benton County warrants, one of which was a probation violation.
All three were taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of formal charges.
Damage to the machines was over $750, according to the report.
