On October 4, Narcotics detectives from the Johnson County Sheriff's office and the Warrensburg Police Department applied for and received a search warrant for a residence in Knob Noster. 

At 12:32 a.m. on October 4, police and SWAT team members executed the warrant on the mobile home at 1601 South State Street, Lot #137.   SWAT members located three adults and two children.  Located in the search of the residence was a large quantity of illegal prescription medication, evidence of methamphetamine distribution (including packaging materials, digital scales, and drug paraphernalia).

Arrested at the scene were:  Jouline L Ledford, 34, of Knob Noster, Julie M Ledford, 30, of Warrensburg, and Jason A Rowland, 32, of Knob Noster.

Jouline L Ledford was arrested for Class B Felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.   She was transported to the Johnson County Jail where she was booked and released pending the filing of formal charges.

Julie M Ledford was arrested at the scene on three outstanding warrants:  a Johnson County warrant for non-support (bond was set at $25,0000), a municipal city warrant out of Holden for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving while revoked (bond set at $1500), and one Jackson County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance ($2500 bond). She remains in the Johnson County Jail.

Jason A Rowland was arrested at the scene for two outstanding Johnson county traffic warrants charging him with failure to wear a seat-belt  and speeding.  Rowland remains in the Johnson County jail in lieu of $550 bond.

The two minor children were turned over to family members and the Division of Family Services has been notified.
