Three Injured at Highway 50 & 127 in Pettis County

Three area residents were injured in a three-car accident that occurred at Highway 50 and Route 127 in La Monte Thursday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound 2012 Hyundai driven by 25-year-old Ashley N. Daniels of Windsor pulled into the passing lane of a westbound 2005 Ford driven by 60-year-old Larry E. Sisco of Sweet Springs, causing the Ford to strike southbound a 2010 Dodge driven by 22-year-old Alissa A. Haugen of La Monte at 4:22 p.m. Thursday, April 4. The Ford also struck Daniel's car.

Injured were Ashley Daniels, 25, and Payton O. Daniels, age 5. Also injured was Haugen. All three had minor injuries. The Daniels were transported by PCAD to Bothwell Regional Health Center, while Haugen was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle. All three were wearing a safety device, the report said.

The Dodge had minor damage, while the Ford and Hyundai had extensive damage and were towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.
