A shooting Monday night at Michigan State University of East Laning left three students dead and five others in critical condition.
The suspected gunman, identified as 43-year-old Anthony Dwayne McRae, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
A weapon has been recovered, but authorities would not say if it was the one used in the campus shooting.
A search warrant was executed on a residence affiliated with the alleged shooter.
Several hours went by before the alleged shooter was located by a Michigan State Trooper. It was at that moment that the shooter reportedly turned the gun on himself.
