Well our Kansas City Chiefs had a tough loss yesterday, and it may cost them home field advantage in the playoffs.

After an amazing start, they were not able to stop Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase and they fell to the Cincinnati Bengals 34 to 31.  This was a huge loss.  It dropped them to the 2 seed in the AFC.  The Tennessee Titans are now the one seed and if they win against the Houston Texans next week, they will get the only "bye" in the AFC when the playoffs start in 2 weeks.

The Chiefs will be on the road in Denver on Saturday to finish out the season.  The Broncos have been eliminated from playoff contention but it is always tough to play at Mile High.  The Titans has a much easier opponent as they travel to Houston to play the 4-12 Texans.

Now if you want to be optimistic, the Texans have defeated the Titans already this year.  But the other 3 wins were against the Chargers, and the Jaguars (twice).  The Titans have a lot more to play for.

The Chiefs have had a solid season, and it has been nice to see the defense step up big time.  But Sundays game, saw the Chiefs lose 2 more offensive tackles.  Left Tackle Lucas Niang and Orlando Brown went down.  Perhaps they can activate former Pro Bowl lineman Kyle Long.  Clyde Edwards-Helaire is still out and he could certainly help on offense.  And if they end up with the 2nd seed, I still like our chances.

But lets take care of business first.  Defeat Denver on Saturday.  Put the pressure on Tennessee to win on the road.  If we can get our players healthy in time for the playoffs and make sure there isn't any more COVID-19 outbreaks, I still like our chances.  But for 1 weekend, lets send winning vibes to that team in Texas.  Maybe they can pull of the upset like they did earlier in the year.  I would like to see the road to the Super Bowl go through Arrowhead.  Wouldn't you?
