Two Clinton Teenagers Injured After Vehicle Slides into Creek

Two teenagers from Clinton were injured Monday night after their vehicle slid into a creek in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 6:45, on NW 950 Road at NW 651 Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2015 Chevrolet Cruz failed to negotiate a curve, then slid off the road and into a creek.

The driver, 17-year old Alexis E. Griffis, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck, while a passenger, 15-year old Isabella J. Ladd, suffered minor injuries.

Griffis and Ladd were taken to Golden Valley Hospital by EMS for treatment.

The report indicates the Chevy sustained moderate damage and was towed.
