On Sunday around 6:40 p.m., Pettis County Deputies responded to 19000 block of Highway H on a trespassing complaint.

Subsequently, 23-year-old Noah Donnell of Concordia was arrested on an active Macon County warrant, as well as trespassing. 42-year-old Robert Donnell, also of Concordia, was arrested for trespassing, as well as possession of burglary tools. Both were transported to the Pettis County Jail.

In a Facebook post Sunday, Sheriff Brad Anders added that:

“Deputies Cook and Jennings were dispatched by CMS Kelsey to the 19000 block of H Hwy reference suspicious subjects near a residence.

“The homeowner observed two individuals on surveillance footage, milling about the home, and notified PCSO.

“Upon arrival, deputies located and took the two individuals into custody, one of which was in possession of burglar tools with the other wanted on a felony warrant. Both subjects are on probation and/or parole for theft.

“This is another example of excellent cooperation between citizens and our Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies. These men and women serving you are working very hard to identify and apprehend any and all who are willing to victimize the citizens of this county.

“Special thanks to the would-be victim for his assistance in this apprehension … It is rare to stop burglaries before they occur, and I am very proud of all involved.”
