Two Dead After Car Smashes Into St. Louis Grocery Store

Two people are dead after a car flipped onto its side and slammed into a St. Louis grocery store.

The accident happened Friday afternoon around 3 p.m., at a Schnucks store in south St. Louis.

The vehicle’s driver and passenger — a man and a woman — died hours later at a hospital. No one inside the store was injured.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a witness told reporters that the car sped up on the parking lot and struck a concrete barrier, causing it to flip on its side and strike the front of the store.
