Two Killed in Head-On Collision Near Warrensburg
Two people were killed Sunday afternoon in a head-on vehicle collision near Warrensburg, MO.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck just before 4:00, on MO-13 bypass north of the roundabout.
According to the online crash report, a 2003 Buick Century crossed the center line and struck a 1996 Dodge 2500 head-on.
The driver of the Buick, 24-year old Kent Reynolds, and a passenger, 19-year old Randy K. Diltz, both of St. Louis, were killed as a result of the wreck.
Diltz's body was taken to a local funeral home, while Reynolds was taken to St. Luke's Hospital.
The driver of the Dodge, 82-year old Walter E. McGirl, of Warrensburg, suffered minor injuries. He was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
