Two Sedalia men were taken to University of Missouri Hospital following a Saturday night wreck in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at appropriately 10:40, on Highway 50 east of Montgomery Ave.

According to the online crash report, the driver of a 2007 Scion TC lost control on the roadway and began to skid counter-clockwise sliding across both lanes of US-50, then traveling off the left side of the road and striking a tree. After the impact, the vehicle partially returned to the road and came to rest in the left lane.

The driver, 22-year old Cristian Rodriquez and a passenger, 30-year old Jesus Hernandez, suffered serious injuries.

Hernandez was flown by Staff for Life Air Ambulance to University Hospital for treatment.

Rodriquez was also taken to University Hospital, by PCAD, for treatment.

Sedalia Police assisted the Patrol at the scene.
