Two Sedalians Arrested by Pettis County Deputies, Third Suspect at Large
On Feb. 18 at 6:30 a.m., Pettis County deputies were dispatched to the 23,500 block of Yeater Road on a call of three subjects trespassing.
Upon arrival, one male fled the area on foot and deputies met with two other suspects. During the investigation, deputies located several wheels and tires belonging to a semi-truck or trailer. Deputies located a semi-truck belonging to Par Electric, Kansas City, which had been broken into and tampered with, according to a report.
Deputies arrested 37-year-old Richard D. Taber and 39-year-old Misty D. Flores, both of Sedalia. They were charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, stealing and trespassing.
Damage to the truck was estimated at thousands of dollars.
