Two Warrensburg Teens Injured in JoCo Wreck

Two Warrensburg teens were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Friday in Johnson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2013 Ford, driven by 19-year-old Devon A. Reese of Warrensburg, was on US 50, west of NW 250th Road at 1:40 p.m.

The Patrol report said that due to the driver's inattention, the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, down a steep embankment and struck the ground. The vehicle then kept rolling in a southeast direction before coming to rest in a field.

Reese and her passenger, 19-year-old Amanda L. Rausch of Warrensburg, both suffered minor injuries and both refused treatment at the scene.

The Ford had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
