Two Women Injured in JoCo Rollover

Two women were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Monday in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2001 Dodge, driven by 55-year-old Shelia A. Stoneking of Leeton, was at 528 SE 251st Road around 11:45 a.m., when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.

Stoneking suffered moderate injuries, while her passenger, 59-year-old Karen A. Ridenour of Windsor, suffered minor injuries. Both were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

The Dodge had moderate damage, and was towed by Tip Top Towing.

Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
