University of Central Missouri (UCM) President Roger Best met informally with Honors College students during a brunch event on Wednesday, March 18, at Achauer House, offering students an opportunity to ask questions and engage in conversation about campus life, student success and university priorities.

Designed as a casual social hour, the "Brunch with Best" event allowed students to come and go while spending time with Best in a more personal setting outside the classroom. New additions this year included a submitted-in-advance question-and-answer component intended to support meaningful student engagement, as well as a trivia activity based on previously shared facts about Best’s background and interests.

Student questions covered a range of topics, including Best’s career path, advice for students, diversity and inclusion, university goals, campus culture and student well-being. The brunch menu included a create-your-own omelet station, breakfast breads, mini croissants, yogurt, coffee and orange blossom punch.
