The Smith-Cotton High basketball programs will offer skills and shooting camps for boys and girls entering grades kindergarten through Grade 6.

The skills camp is set for July 10-14 in the high school gym. The session for grades K-3 is 9 a.m. to noon, with check-in at 8:30; the grades 4-6 session is 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. with check-in at noon. The camp will cover offensive and defensive fundamentals, team concepts, sportsmanship, scrimmages and game situations. Cost is $40 per player and includes a T-shirt.

The shooting camp will be 4 to 7 p.m. July 17-18 in the high school gym, with check-in at 3:30 p.m. Cost is $25 per player.

Participants should register by July 7 for the skills camp to ensure the correct T-shirt size; registration will be accepted until the first day of the camp. Also, the Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers Basketball mini camp for girls entering grades 7 and 8 will be offered 3 to 5 p.m. July 11-12 in the S-C High gym.
The camp will be directed by Lady Tigers Head Coach Jonathan Tester and the S-C girls basketball coaching staff, with assistance from Lady Tigers varsity and JV players.

The camp will include skill development (passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding), shooting and free throw competitions and team competitions.

Cost is $20 and includes a T-shirt. The registration form is available at Pummill's Sporting Goods and online at www.sedalia200.org/domain/60 under Quick Links, then Summer Camps. Registration requested by July 7 to ensure the correct T-shirt size.
