Vehicle Accident in Johnson County Sends One Man to the Hospital Monday Night

A vehicle accident in Johnson County sent a 49-year-old man to the hospital with serious Monday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the accident around 5:45 on MO-13, just north of the Highway 13 Business Junction.

A 2007 Yamaha was traveling south, when it veered off the right side of the road and overturned. The Yamaha struck a highway sign, before coming to rest.

The driver of the Yamaha, 49-year-old Richard E. Justason, of Buckner, MO, suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was taken to Research Medical Center, by JCAD, for treatment.

According to the report, the Yamaha was totaled in the accident.
